For over 45 years, Yost Gallagher Construction has been providing high quality commercial general contracting throughout the Inland Northwest and we have maintained long-term partnerships with many design firms, subcontractors and suppliers. Many of our key employees have been with the company for over 20 years, giving the company a wealth of experience with all types of construction. Since 1979, when Roger Mooney and Barry Pugh teamed to form Mooney and Pugh Building Contractors, we have completed many high-profile projects in the Inland Northwest. In 2005 we became Yost Mooney & Pugh Contractors, and for our clients, the transition was seamless. Then again in 2016 with the merger of Yost Mooney & Pugh Contractors and Gallagher Construction Group. Cory Yost and Jeff Gallagher have brought their respective companies together to extend the legacy into the future and to extend the company’s construction and building capabilities to better serve our clients with a broader base of experience and expertise.

Jeff Gallagher

President

Jeff is the driving force behind Yost Gallagher Construction. With over 20 years of experience in the industry, Jeff has built a reputation for his commitment to quality, innovation, and client satisfaction. Under his leadership, Yost Gallagher Construction has successfully completed a wide range of commercial projects. Jeff’s hands-on approach ensures that each project is executed with precision and care, reflecting the company’s core values of integrity and excellence. He has experience managing a wide range of retail, industrial, multi-family, and hotel projects with extensive knowledge of construction laws, regulations, processes, and procedures. Jeff is committed to meeting or exceeding customer expectations.

Cory Yost

Vice President

Cory has been with the company almost longer than any other employee, serving initially as an
estimator/project manager before becoming president of the firm. Cory’s project management
duties have seen a broad base of experience from small to large projects in almost every facet of
construction; from design-build projects for the military and private sector to construction
management and bid-build and consulting services. Cory’s easy style underscores the importance
of relationship building between the owner, contractors, subcontractors and building
professionals.

Matt Galvano

Vice President

Matt has been in the construction industry for over 30 years in a variety of capacities ranging from carpenter to project executive. Matt worked through high school and college as a carpenter building custom homes in Alaska where he grew up. He moved to Spokane in 2001 where he excelled in both project and operations management in commercial construction within the architectural sheet metal, pre-engineered steel, civil and general contracting industries. Matt emphasizes the importance of teamwork, clear communication and transparency with the clients and clear expectations of subcontractors and field personnel in order to proactively drive budget and schedule. Matt strives to maintain a positive, constructive, and collaborative project team environment through all phases of construction.
